Distance between two points has always been the formula
The Greater the distance, the more realistic it was
She was the node and I just a point on the network
The infinite distance between us
I watch her from afar, my eyes cast in nightshade
Her flawless form, her heavenly voice, the perfection
Broken and disfigured I am, wilting at every cell
Rancid acid breathing through my pores
Ideal she is, Monarch as the butterfly
Too sweet, too pure, too beautiful
Ever to be graced by the petals of putridity
Unworthy of the name of the Rose
She turns away, her eyes cast on the future
There is no past for the joyful ones
The Poisoned Rose has no future
Its life and existence is in the present
Unfit for my butterfly, my eyes cast back upon my form
Scarred, broken, marked, destroyed and rusted
Degenerating, Fulminating, intoxicating, devastating
Forever in Darkness, Unfit for my Butterfly
