When I look at you
I see the ocean in your eyes
Full of essence and beauty
That fills within the skies
A child of love within
Who needs to remember
The nurturing of a mother
And daughter being together
In you I see strength
A determined being of truth
I see love and understanding
I see Beauty in Essence with you
I realize people are different
You're unique in your own way
Uniqueness lies within your heart
You're in mine every day
When I see you, My child
I see my own beautiful creation
The world was blessed with you
On your birth celebration

Beautiful
This is such a wonderful and creative piece! Individuality is something to be celebrated and I'm sure your daughter will truly love this amazing write when she's old enough to appreciate it. A mother's love for her child is undeniably the strongest bond ever. Thanks so much for your entry and good luck!

yet . . . perfect innocence is antithetical to uniqueness, is it not? -
