apparently the female praying mantis also consumes the unlucky male. this is a quirky sorta poem, you don't come across material like this around here, but its so refreshing and beautiful. congrats on such a unique and beautiful piece!

Thanks! Btw, my description is quite precise. Male spider is said to die after copulation and then a female partner devours the poor thing.
