Choices

A choice within circumstance
What do you want; what do you want
Which way to turn in each instance
Will time turn up or turn to naught

Free will instills in us the thrill
Of making choices, good and bad
Circumstance lets us instill
Into the future that not yet had

Change in circumstance allows
For different choices to be made
Think about how yours endows
Your future path's direction laid

A choice within circumstance
What you do, what you do
Affects the future more than chance
The future is largely up to you

Ellis

This is a wonderful poem.I love it especially the last stanza:

    "A choice within circumstance
What you do, what you do
Affects the future more than chance
The future is largely up to you"
