Author notes

I will call the form pixiku.  The syllable count is from haiku or senryu, but I am not sure the subject matter applies to either.    The comment in your contest about not have all day to read one piece was the inspiration.  As a reader, I have quite the short attention span, but as a writer I tend to love the sound of my own voice.    Thanks for giving me a chance to smile at myself

oh you don't want to take life seriously, it's meant as a joke, we just don't realise it until it's too late to laugh, you need to be able to laugh at yourself especially in the bad times, it switches a light on inside and pushes the darkness back into the corner..
As for a pixiku.. i wouldn't know what if it bit my ankle

Haha, thanks. I find laughing at myself is much more rewarding than laughing at others. When I can see myself in a ridiculous light, I am less apt to take life soooooo seriously. Sort of helps me save the misery for times there is actually something to be miserable about instead of using it all up when it isnt really needed

Lol, I would have to ask the all famouse AP pixiku inventor to be sure if it qualifies . It is a pretty all inclusive 3 line form though, so I am giving SEA credit by calling it one. Although, I understand haiku and senryu as far as syllable count, but I don't always quite get the difference in topics.

An interesting haiku writer that I found on oldpoetry leaves even more questions in my mind. You should check him out, he wrote some really humorous stuff

This guy had me laughing. He had a very unconventional way of looking at things in his day

This is cute. I am not sure it qualifies as a pixiku, though. Hey, you can make up your own style. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Very short and succinct. Well wishes in the contest.
    Thank you for sharing.
