A empire falling,
A warriors path,
Pride is what drives,
Second most to greed.
Pride causes failure,
Pride causes destruction to those who lost,
They don't want to stop because it hurts they're pride,
And so, they're adversaries completely destroy them.
Warriors of ancient Greece,
Presidents of countries,
All want to look good because that is they're pride,
And in the end it leads to ultimate destruction.
Pride blinds those who follow it,
Blinds them to the fact they cannot win,
Blinds them that they lost and should stop,
And they never want to stop till they reclaim pride.
pride is what drives men,
Brings them to they're fate they think,
Lets them go to heaven or fall to hell,
But in the end it just leads to death.
Pride is the top of the list,
The second most deadly sin,
Second to loyalty,
But still lays men to death.
A warriors path,
Pride is what drives,
Second most to greed.
Pride causes failure,
Pride causes destruction to those who lost,
They don't want to stop because it hurts they're pride,
And so, they're adversaries completely destroy them.
Warriors of ancient Greece,
Presidents of countries,
All want to look good because that is they're pride,
And in the end it leads to ultimate destruction.
Pride blinds those who follow it,
Blinds them to the fact they cannot win,
Blinds them that they lost and should stop,
And they never want to stop till they reclaim pride.
pride is what drives men,
Brings them to they're fate they think,
Lets them go to heaven or fall to hell,
But in the end it just leads to death.
Pride is the top of the list,
The second most deadly sin,
Second to loyalty,
But still lays men to death.
Author notes
ok i dont know if this is dark or not, and if i did what i was going to do its more what normal people would call fantasy work, but i did what i could, im not exactly sure if it is loyalty or which thats first most deadly sin, but i know pride is second definetly, ill find my book on the 7 deadly sins and make it easier. well, olivwa.

Nice description on the sin of Pride. You have to watch your "they're" "there" and "their"s though hun, you seem to get them confused a lot. Thanks for the entry.

Great Job!
Another great, well expressed piece, yes, pride comes before a fall, so the good book says, and I believe this too.
What is gained, but just more hateful souls in the world...? I much rather be loving, and help those whom I can be of help to, but I know, I must also guard my heart...Been hurt and scared a few times to say the least, and I have some wounds deep within, and walls up to proove it.
But thanks for sheding some light on another interesting topic!
Much love, always, Timothy The Poetic Weaver~
