I love the silence

I love the silence
If only the air was cold and bitter as bile
And the darkness enveloped my translucent flesh
And my soul dispersed through eons of pain

Come to me love, see all that is without your grasp
There is nothing to be saved, but unending regret
The desire for this life was far to great for me to escape
Leave it while you still can
Let the light and everlasting love surround you and mend your broken wings
I influenced you now break away of me
And never let me hold you here again

I love the silence
If only the air was cold and bitter as bile
And the darkness enveloped my translucent flesh
And my soul dispersed through eons of pain

If I’m alone what pain can be brought
Except for the self inflicted and sorrow
What possible meaning for my existence
Could be found or lost only to be squandered by self pity and doubt
What sort of desolate plan could be made for me?
That doesn’t revolve around the murder of hearts
And would any resistance do any good

I love the silence
If only the air was cold and bitter as bile
And the darkness enveloped my translucent flesh
And my soul dispersed through eons of pain
