Catch the stars with a butterfly net
and guard them in the pools in your eyes;
So I will have the universe with me,
every time the waves bring us together.
In those eyes – only – I bathe;
the others universes I ignore –
they also ignore me –
in the immensity I can not cease to be…
Stardust envelops my body –
like unread pages in forlorn dialects –
waiting for the day Universe create;
those who will speak those words again.
In the space there is silence and no hollowness…
I hear sounds of planets and You.
In the space there is silence and no forgetfulness…
I read the stars afar and write in dashing comets.
As your eyes close and the sparkling glow fades,
I persist in the Universe and only this Universe –
which creation was already his own end –
persists within the eyes I face.
The journey always ends in the same setting;
the familiar preamble newly transformed
in the lasting place where you are found
under universe’s unseen boundaries…
