Great job with these lines! I'm not familiar with the contest, but it would appear that you're required to basically write a Cento.....a poem made up of the lines of other poets, or in this case, lyricists, words. You did a really good job with this! I've attempted a Cento before, and so I know how difficult it is, and time consuming, to go through the artist's work, and piece something together from nothing more than fragments! I'd say you stand more than a good chance in the contest!
