Will There Be any Peace in this world?
No matter how we try it will always be war.
With out war how would peace rise?
We try, it doesn't Work.
We Try, We steal families away from one another.
Why must we take the lives of the ones we love
Just to hear the war never really begun?
Thoughts of happiness, and safety.
Peace?
There is no way.
I know you may think my thoughts on this are unclear;
But i know how i truly feel.
Peace will never be a word we understand.
War is the only word we think of when peace is said.

War and Peace... My thoughts on how we will never have peace.

I liked this poem a lot, It's the true. I understand what your saying, when someone says peace we automaticly think of war, there always will be war because people wont allow peace it's to simple. I really enjoyed this poem, if you have time check out some of mine take care. ~Holly

This is good, i have no problems with short or even unclear poems so long as the poet believes they have spoken from the heart.
Your right about us not knowing the meaning of peace, when someone says peace the government reply "We'll just bomb everyone then they will agree with us and peace will reign"
