The year 2005 is almost over
in a few hours it will end
we remember the good times
shared with family and friends
We will have a cup of cheer
then make a toast or two
remember the ones you love
who are not there with you
You can make new resolutions
hoping you will follow through
you can try the best you can
the choice is left up to you
Thank the Lord for all he gave
throughout the year gone by
promise to do better this year
mean it in your heart and try
Be there for the needy and weak
lend a helping hand to others
learn to give instead of receive
to Christian sisters and brothers
Try to live by the golden rule
keep God in your heart everyday
spread sunshine all around
goodness will come your way
