My Wintery Friend, The Snowman

See the snowman on the grass?
He has no cares at all
He watches as the cars pass by
He smiles as night falls
He doesn't mind the cold
In fact, he'd share his scarf with you.
He'd even give his carrot up
If you were hungry, too.
But don't steal his two coal eyes
He needs them to see all he can
You see, he only comes around once a year,
My wintery friend, the snowman.

Author notes

Snowman and winter are my favorite things.  This is just a simple write.  I hope you enjoy!

    I wish I could be like the snowman... with no cares at all. One of the reasons I like this peom is the fact that is winter only comes around once a year... it sort of reminds me about my friendships in placement... they only happen once and a while... Great Job!

    Hahaha, fun write, with a touch of deeper meaning. Sigh, we havent had enough snow yet this year to even build a mud snow man. Great poem though. I loved it

    This is a nice cute poem on your snowy friend.I've written a poem like that"snowman and I"...it reminded me of that.
