Lol, I almost used something instead of someone. When I thought about it, though, it seemed that since I was referring to persons rather than things, someone made more sense than something. I have no clue which would actually be correct
.
I am glad that you mentioned it. It lets me know that my consideration of which to use was not as tedious as I initially thought. Being from Texas, I am often taken back with my own linguistical inaptitude, to say the least. Phrases I have used all my life suddenly stop me in my tracks and make me think --what in the world does that mean--

Congratulations on your placing. This was insighful and true. One change I think I would make is to use "something" rather than "someone". To me, it just works better, but semantics, eh?
Thank you for sharing. -
Such truth in these few words. Congratulations on winning bronze!

A very smart and worthy Pixiku. Far too many people end up being someone that they despise in trying to fit in or win approval of "the in-crowd". ~Jim

Ah..to be careful of the pressures and influences of society-you captured it here. The world tells us to conform and be aggresssive to get ahead, when the Word tells us to be humble and honest. Nicely done! Best wishes in the contest~vickie j

Lol, SEA, not so young and wisdom usually comes in the late night hours when I am too sleepy to think
. Feel free to remind me of this when you ever see me acting like a dope worrying about whether or not I am acceptable
Thanks so much for the comment and the contest. Your pixiku contests are always uplifting, simple, and usually draw lots of wonderful little writes from people with important things for us to all think about and attempt to live by. -
Excellent!
This is EXCELLENT. You are a wise young soul. I think this is a GREAT idea for 2006 and every year. I am so glad you are so enlightened to have realized this sooner rather than later.
