15 years I've waited,
Waited to meet you,
The man everyone said was horrible.
15 years they've wasted.
After 15 years I've met you now,
I do believe we've known each other forever somehow.
"Daddy I love you" three year old me would say,
And ever since I went away,
Three year old me did stay.
I dealt with 15 years of pain,
And the only thing I did gain was,
You.
I love you dad,
I never went a day by wondering who you were,
Wondering why they took me from you.
I love you,
I wish they didn't hurt you.
I love you dad,
You're one of the most important things to me.
I'd never give you up for anything in the world.
They were wrong,
You're the best person in the world.
I love you.

Hey
In a way I can see my daughter writing this, even though Im sure its a totally different situation, but I was always daddys little girl, and my dad is treating my daughter just the same.. but Im sure she'll wonder where her father is, and why hes not around sooner or later.. hopefully by then I wouldve figured out what Im to say..
thanks for entering, and good luck!
