Not For You

You took what was not meant for you,
Gifts that now cannot be given.
Greed blows the candle out
for another and another.

My own,
My only true gift is wounded.
The radio hisses,
The record skips
and my gift is broken.

Wishes to the one I love
do not replace my gift,
shattered by greed.

What is mine is not yours
Unless I give it as a gift.
But now my gift is broken.

You maimed it.
You took it.
You should suffer
with fractured gifts.

But I let you go
and now another's
gift might be taken.

Strong wills,
brave ones will break you.
You cannot take what is
not meant for you.

    Great

THis is a good poem, seems that someone took a gift that you were going to give for someone else and you tried to apologize to that right person but they still wouldnt accept it. Im not sure if that is the right point but trust me, I'm trying Over all it is a good poem
