That Y2k Bug

There once was a man named G
He was eaten by a bug in his pc

He didn't think he needed mcafee
so we all should learn a lesson from G
that we all need mcafee..

the end.

I use Avast! (it's free and I'm cheap) lol.

The Y2K scare, man people freaked out over that. I had a friend whose ex-husband stocked up on food, sure that life was coming to an end, lol.

    Cute poem.

Amen, dear Ed....I've always said that if those people that develop those pc viruses would only develop like a cure for cancer to something like that...this world would be a much better place...Amen? swp Thanks for reading my little poem.. I've gotten a whole lot of favorable comments from this little poem..more than I thought I would.

This is sheer lunacy but you get away with it! The ultimate outpouring of chaotic, brief humour....great stuff....

I thought I had commented on this, but maybe not! This is a cute poem and it did make me smile. I remember the frantic rush to save our computers when the date was changing from 1999 to 2000. turned out to not be as bad as everyone thought! The Shaker

I have AVG virus protector and ZoneLabs firewall. I also have hackers protection and spam guard on my emial. I am crazy about getting a virus. I had one in June and almost lost everything. Thank goodness my nephew is a computer specialist and was able to retrieve all my files. We all should take a lesson from "G"! Great work! I wish you the best in this challenge.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

    Much Love,
    Renee

lol! Wow! That's great! I use to have mcafee, but then like the thing ran out so I got rid of it. Now I use Norton, but it doesn't seem to work... I've had this virus on my computer for like 3 weeks and it can't get rid of it. It slows my entire computer down a lot by taking up the memory or whatever... I have to use this other program everytime the computer starts to deactivate the virus, but everytime I restart the computer, the virus comes back. Your poem is filled with much wisdom and a lot of laugher. One suggestion since you are new to AP and such would be post the picture of the contest with your poem whenever it's a picture contest. That way people will see the picture that you're going off of. Keep up the great work!

Norton houses my pc, and that is good enough for me...
This was a cute write, and a good message as well. Best wishes in the contest.

Oh how well do I know this. My old computer was rendered unuseable by a cyber virus. Thanks for the grin.
