Tactical director
What a brilliant title
Sent to the big room
To read the little screen
And move little men across the board
His perception of war was
Equivalent to the game of risk
And the riskiest thing he’d ever done
Was drop the soap in the shower

oh there are many levels. a game of risk inspires more than just a few commados

amazing
again you've done it in a short quip my dear. I should probably read more of the other poets on this site, but i'm so very fond of you. damned girl! you should be published by now. get to it! anyways hot stuff, this is very inciteful and strong! nice stab at the warmongers of this world. in less than 50 words as I-like-rhymes said above.
you never cease to amaze me.
happy YULE my friendly witch!
excellent write. -
thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the write. I was talking with a friend about the game risk and this whole thing came to mind. mastering a plan and conquering it all. then i thought, officials must do this- and they think that it's just a game. hehe glad you popped in!

I love this great work.

Exquisite
A nice unadorned piece leaving me to think exactly who you are sniping at and if tactical director is the latest euphemism for G.I. mercenary in the same vein as military advisers of a previous generation.
You manage to describe a military role, take a political side-swipe and have a mildy off colour joke in less than 50 words. WOW
I often find it difficult to keep the word count in my comment so low.

lol, i wonder who you are talking about, i love the last part,
"And the riskiest thing he’d ever done
Was drop the soap in the shower"
this was good right here, i t has a message too, i am not sure if i have it right, but never trust a leader who hides behind the glory of others and sends others to there death's.
