In the search for ultimate beauty
The bottom dollar dropped
Within the confined shiny
Prism crystals, the true
Light shined in glorious brilliance
And for just one moment
We forgot who we are
Recalling of a time
When we were
certain we knew
Who we were

what do you have to be jealous of?
-
thanks dis B ac Tiz Up, (hard name to type, shoulda just copied). glad you enjoyed the journey
-
fantasmic..I'm jealous
-
beauty in its true form does remind us that at one point in time we knew who we were but the present moment is never as certain as it was then...
-
I made another minor edit in the second stanza. I just changed some verb tenses around on the 'forgot who we were' switched it to 'forgot who we are' and ended with 'and remembered who we were'
-
I hope you win
-
corrected. wonder why my spell check didnt catch that
-
I really like the accompanying audio.
I like the poem too but I thought I would point out a typo:
shinned should be shined.
thanks for your entry and best of wishes,
Lea

great imagery here. people worry too much about what they were and not enough about what they are
