Dogs in Snow (Cento Triolet)

Dashing through the snow,
Chasing after dogs,
Camera in tow --
Dashing through the snow!
What a crazy show
The two of us in fog
Dashing through the snow,
Chasing after dogs!

Author notes

This is a triolet, using a line from Jingle Bells.  Please be gentle; it's only my second one!  Thanks for the read.

I do mean camera. Thank you for catching that, and, yes, that is my youngest up in the picture -- Szievesen, or Veshie as we call her. She's a Husky/Wolf hybrid and six months old.
    Thank you for your comments!

Is Camara a name or do you mean "camera" as in the photography equipment? Just asking. I think you did a great job on this- simple but pleasant read. Great visuals too- is that your dog? My husband had a husky/german shepherd mix when he was little, and I think I've seen a similar snapshot of him (his name was Rocky).

Again do not listen to Mr smarty pants - ask him where he learned how to write triolets!!! You caught on way easier than he ever did.
I personally like the short lines, they add variety. yes, triolets usually do have longer lines, but there are no set meteric rules so tell Mr Captain of the greater squad (sounds sort of like a cheerleader that never grew up... ) to SIT ON IT!

I think you did a wonderful job with this. The lines are a little short, but I still loved it. And no, I am not partial to you being one of my Greeters.

OK, slip the 20 under the table while the others aren’t looking.

    Ahem………..excellent job my dear.
