Jason (liv4eternity)

Missing image
Wife Jamey, Daughter Samantha, Sister-in-law Crystal, Jason
(They have Kristen 2 months old now too)

A mere mortal among us
words are spoken so gentle
he personifies goodness
can be so sentimental

Applies his God given gifts
a heart for youth fellowship
witnesses to those searching
offers his hand in friendship

Went on a quest to help God
listened to views contrary
gave up the comforts of home
Honduran missionary

Poems for God are his forte
writes the Bible's truth humbly
has time to always listen
an earth angel he must be

Gives blankets to the homeless
listens compassionately
truly loves his fellowman
lives his life so righteously

This dear father and husband
a true blessing in disguise
son and friend to so many
for on God's words he relies

Author notes

This is what I have written on my author's page sine July16,2004. That is when Jason led me to accept Jesus Christ in my heart after 3 weeks of witnessing with me. He was so wonderful and patient with me. God has truly giving him the gift to witness and compassion and so many more. He is a wonderful kindhearted young man. I love you. God Bless you Jason.

My author's page comments-
I have met so many wonderful people on Allpoetry, it has given me such pleasure. One poet I met on allpoetry has helped me change my life forever. He is Jason (live4eternity).  He and his wife, Jamey, have held out their hands in kindness to a complete stranger. He took me home, home to God. God spoke through this person in such a sweet and loving way that I started listening and realized I wanted to go home to God's love. Now I am in Gods family where I belong. God has accepted  me with open arms and wrapped me in his love.

Not many who would go out of their way to tell someone how great they are even though there are many of them out there. Most take these wonderful people for granted. It is very nice for you to share the news of this great person who has made a very positive influence in your life. Some of us could only wish for that. Very nice write here and I am sure Jason is grateful not just for seeing this but also that he was able to guide you into light when more than likely you were in the dark. Job well done here and applauds for Jason. We need more people like you. Take care and happy holidays.
