I am your Placebo,
You don’t realise it yet,
I was prescribed to you by unknown forces
The “great divinity”
I am your Placebo,
Spine bent backwards to do as you please.
Your words are whip cracks,
I react for you
The way you would.
The way you think I should
Just for you.
I am no longer a person,
Im just a little white tablet.
Wrapped in a uniform,
And smiling,
Being your servant is what im meant to do,
Its what makes me happy.
Im just waiting for you to realise
that i'm what you've been missing all these years.

amazing lines, this is brillaint! but sad. better than eating apples -
Great
Great use of imagery. I like the sort of dark ending. It makes me think about relationships and the way we try to please others in order to gain their affection. The conceit you create using the placebo is original and you do a nice job maintaining it throughout the poem.
