And so my pretty one

Have you cried yet?  Have you shed a silent tear and wiped it?

Do you know how to cry?

My dear protected one

Wrapped in your leather and lace

Do you feel remorse?

Have you felt regret and learned from it?

Have you yourself felt pain and grown from it?

My lonely child in man’s clothing

Do you miss the love you lost?

Do you fear losing the love you have?

You who was so quick to accuse

Now you are the accused.

Do you feel tired?

My little child, how cold is your heart now?

Have you chilled to those around you?

Do you sense that they have chilled to you?

My poor, sweet one, cry for me now.

I have gone.

This is a great write. Like some other people said, these questions they are haunting. Alot of us has asked these questions, few of us are not as lucky to not care for the answers. This left me wanting to know the answers, LOL. But it's great that it is in there that you are already gone and you are not going to sit around and wait for those answers that usually go unanswered. Great job. Thank you for entering my contest.

Questions and answers that I think we all go through life wondering and asking. Sorta reminds of the old saying. "What goes around, comes around" Great write!!!!

This is chilling really, leaves you with a sense of abandonment. Right on! Love this, and I have a few people in mind that I could dedicate this to as well! Good job my friend.

I don't think you really expect answers to this as you already know them. You have left and no longer care. Liked this write,

Your questions carry a lot of weight. They leave the reader pondering They are questions that I am sure we have asked of ourselves or will. Your poem is poignant. I wish you the best in this challenge. Excellent!
