You know its amazing how fast things can change
How with just a snap of a finger *Poof* all hell breaks loose
Christmas, i thought, was a time for family, full of excitement and fattening food
But how is that possible in the life of today
where people freeze on the streets
or where families are starving
Christmas TODAY is..is all about presents..and who can have the most christmas lights on their houses
Christmas today is about..who got who this
and who spent so much money on this...
I want it all to go back to the days where christmas...was meant to celebrate jesus' birthday
a day that famiy gets along and comes together in one house for a great feast
and everyone crowds into a church to see the elementary school kids put on a play
Christmas this year,(for me and alot of people) is extra sucky. With all the natural disasters and deaths. How can people enjoy a single "Merry Christmas!"..when their christmas isnt so merry.
How did it come to this people?
Will all holidays become worse than they are now?
Or do you think that maybe...something will CLICK in their brains and realize.."Hey...maybe we shouldnt do it this way this year"

Well written and from the thoughts of a 'child'. Don't give up dear, Christmas is in the heart, it should be all year.
Hence I think you should see " How The Grinch Stole Christmas."
I hear you. Since my father passed, Christmas is not the same. Yeah, I came from a big family, but we had lots and lots of love. ... Now, I have... Memories. -
Xmas, a lost joy in the time where everything is now consumed in technology, money, and greed. It should be more spent with time with families. I love my own family, but we don't exactly celebrate Christmas. It's more of the kids like me, sister, and cousins that actually do most of the celebrating
Activities concentrated around family... although, all i can do now is pray for the unfortunate... Anywho... keep on writing~

I totally agree with everything you said. I noticed that people at the stores are starting to say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas. It's very sad what this world is coming to. Well as always, great job! Merry Christmas!

i totally agree with everything you've said. Christmas really has lost itself in all the money and greed, which I completely the opposite of what it should be. You’ve just about summed up all the problems with this time of year, in fact there’s a piece I’ve written that you might like, its based along the same ideas you’re getting at. I'll post it soon.
