Angelic

Missing image
I'll wrap my wings around you
through the longest, coldest nights
to keep you safe & warm...

I'll sigh softly in your heart
so you'll know I'm there...

I'll watch over you
when you feel all alone ~

when you feel the breeze lift your hair,
that will be me, flying low...

I'll listen for your tears
& dry them with my gossamer sleeve ~
don't worry ~ I'll never leave you...

When darkness grows too deep,
light a candle ~
it will be my breath
that makes the shadows dance...

Know that I am with you,
though you cannot see me ~

I'll be there to lead you
Home...

    This warms the heart.

I love to read angel pieces. I've read some good books about them, as well. I love the compassion that is so pure here. God bless you for writing such an elegant piece.

this verse has an aura of magic and sacredness ...
the gentleness of the whispering spirit voice is almost perceptible, almost tangible ... and I even feel that I have already heard those words, felt those feelings of time's suspension, of not-aloneness, of a silent invisible benevolent present without earthly contours ...
this is why I am confident that your words will touch my cousin very much, for he will also recognize this voice, this transparent touch of angel's wings, this soothing presence of all-one-ness ...

thank you so much for this precious poetic jewel, wanda
    much love ...

    "I'll listen for your tears
& dry them with my gossamer sleeve ~

This stanza was more than words can say. I loved it. Your writing style was just fantastic. The way you used like "I'll sigh softly in your heart" and "it will be my breath
that makes the shadows dance..." AMAZING just absolutely a MASTERPEICE. Your talent truly shines above all in this peice. Please keep up the good work, I cannot wait to read more!
