Do you remember back in the day
when we would go behind the bleachers and kiss
and laugh and have a great time
what happened
those four words broke my heart
"we need to talk"
who ever knew four words could
be so painful
after you said those words you kissed my hand
and left my life
you were my best friend
how could you have done this to me
do you not remember that very fist kiss
i do like it was yesterday
at my house watching
the ring 2
you leaned over and kissed me
right when she came out of the TV
i jumped because you scared me
it was a strange kiss
but that's how i remember it so well
we made up for that bad kiss from the last
year or so
can you believe almost 2 years
and you decide to break my heart
so here i am in the bathroom crying with
no one to put my head on there shoulder to
comfort me because that was you and know your gone
i hate that word gone
tape can not repair the damage you have done to me
nothing can not even you
i have had other men in my life but none like you
i don't know how i can say this but..
i still love you with all the little
pieces of my broken heart
those four words changed my life
