Courage is not Absence of Fear

Courage doesn't mean I am never afraid.  It means simply that I rely on a Power greater than myself to carry me through to the other side of the dark scary thing I am facing.

Courage is being confronted with something that scares the holy beejeebus out of me, but rather than reacting to my fear and running away, I say a prayer, and while shaking in my boots, I put one foot in front of the other until I make it through.  The more I rely on my creator to carry me, the less painful the experience.

ooh another one.. the only thing in life to fear is fear itself, conquer that and you can cope.. easy to say but harder to master than lacemaking!

Awesome job on this....fear so easily leads us to flight or fright, and we forget that walking through it, one step at a time, is how we learn the lesson from it.
    Great job on thi soulwork.
