Hiding her pain behind her fake smile
Lord, help me lead her to you
Let me be her guide through her pain
I see her standing by herself
Searching for someone to be her friend
Lord, let me know what to say
May my words always praise You
I see her crying in the corner
Tears flowing like a river down her face
Lord, give me a heart of compassion
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit
Seeing the lost, knowing their in pain
Desiring to lead them to You
Knowing it’s You who saves
Here am I, Lord; send me.
Amen.
Author notes
I originally joined the group "Place of Prayer" to enter the contests. That was back when it was group contest number 12 or something... lol Now that it's on number 24, I'm finally ready to enter. lol mad props to Sam for all the contests she holds for both the group and all the other great contests.
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." (Matthew 9:36-38)
Prayer For : All of those out there who are witnessing to someone. God bless you.
