Loving
a cool breeze from yesterday
longing to breathe
yet another breath of happiness
I have captured you
then I think of you again
and I realize you have captured me!
Shifting sands of time
cover the footprints of our souls
we leave behind together under the sun
while chasing the moon over our long horizons.
When our great moments end
they are lost in a haze
and yet remain forever buried inside unfathomable hearts.
Deep friendship there is now
which began with a glad mutual joy.
If this is our fate, Whoopee!
Silently understanding this
our hearts are drawn out from their shadows
and, once in uncertainty,
now they are shining candlelights
burning with a strong love that endures through many sorrows.
Like restless whispers, the sands of time are blown
on their way to another tomorrow,
revealing the lonely footprints
we left behind.
Yearning to be free
Do you hear our distant love
playing in the gardens, unforced,
my lyrical dear?
Another universe
brings us together
in lover’s silhouettes
as we are warmed by bright angels
from heaven
wielding their bows:
Yet the feelings are wildly
compromised in their innocence,
delusional in their desires,
erroneous in their intentions...
Partly due to their complexity
in a noble and absolute pointlessness
born of hard times
and constant turmoil
that we shared in supportive reciprocity unabated,
only to find ourselves begging for more!

and secretly... it's a secret... so don't tell...
for it forms the deep, everlasting foundation
of our love... which is also a secret...
much like the secret message hidden very secretly
