In The End

Looking back,

at all the moments that have passed,

I’m glad to have shared these years with you.

I am happy to think I didn’t know how it would all end..

If the future was known,

those memories wouldn’t have come.

We’d be apart,

sharing our stories with the old.,

our journeys would have changed

and in our lives, love we would not find.

And now looking back,

at all the moments that have passed,

I’m glad to have shared these years with you.

I am happy to think I didn’t know how it would all end…

Our children we wouldn’t have made,

and their memories we couldn’t have cherished.

They wouldn’t have blessed the world today,

and the would wouldn’t have learned to accept the differences in others…

Looking back for the last time,

at all the moments that have passed,

I’m glad to have shared these years with you.

I am happy to think I didn’t know how it would all end...

Now in the end,

I feel sorry for those who don’t share our love,

for they are missing out on the greatest gift God ever gave us.

That was beautiful. Very well written. Being glad that you didn't know in advance how or when it would end. Yes.

    Thanks for entering,

"...happy..i didn't know how it would end"
i like that line.to know what comes next would ruin the moment now.and most likely keep you fron taking any chances and miss out on some life experiences (good and bad)
