Santa's Big Day

Missing image

The holiday shoppers rush around
Christmas is only two days away
the elves are busy making toys
building Santa's bright red sleigh

Mrs. Claus is shining Santa's boots
and his belt buckle of shiny black
tomorrow she will trim his beard
help put all the toys in his sack

Some elves are grooming the reindeer
checking Rudolf's shiny red nose
making sure it will shine real bright
so Santa can see where ever he goes

Tomorrow night will be Christmas eve
Santa will travel all over the world
bringing happiness on Christmas morn
to all the nice little boys and girls

Presents wrapped in red and green
strewn underneath the evergreen tree
stockings hung filled with treats
apples, candy canes and ribbon candy

Christmas Day ends with a tasty feast
all the loved ones will gather near
singing carols around the grand piano
of Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

    Just what the doctor ordered

Sandygram, This Christmas song should be put to jolly music. I have run out of applauses! Do give it to your grandchildren, won't you? Best of luck in the contest. Lyndon Wise.
