Tickling my ear with the vibrations of your voice
As eyes awaken slowly the vision of your silhouette
Becomes more visible, becomes more clear
… More angelic with the focus of my iris…
While thoughts of you flood my head
I dwell on the days ahead
Along with the days that have passed
As times shadow casts upon us each time we part
I wonder if deep inside
You can hear the calling of my heart
I cry out for you
I reach my hand out for yours
… Hoping that you’ll grab onto mine and never let go
With open arms, I wrap myself inside until they collapse
Your embrace is tight and secure
Lock me up inside the moment forever
… Hold onto me until you can’t hold on anymore
As our lips connect and bare flesh meet
Perfectly fitting together
… Interlocking like a puzzle
I fall into to moment when your warm body
Is pressed against mine
Keep me warm, on these lonely and cold nights
All I’ve ever needed was you, all I wanted was you
Now that I have you, please don’t stray too far from me
Crazy at times and insecure I can be
Always remember that you mean everything
Even when things are going wrong
I’ll keep holding on
For as long as you want me too
Awake me from a dream within a dream
Hoping that you’ll still be here when my eyes break open
