Breathing is just a waste of time
when you have nothing left to do but rhyme
why can't i stop this silly game
that puts me into this deep shame
why can't i stop loving you
maybe it's because of the things you do
why do you have to criticize
i can always tell by the looks in your eyes
why can't you just show me how much you care
i can see your love every time i catch your stare
if you don't love me that's okay but at least
i know that we've got the peace coming our way
if love was as easy as breathing air
then breathing is just a waste of time
and i don't have a care.
