I give the love
that I wish to receive
but no one takes it
they just sit back and think
no one loves me whats the point?
I have tried and tried to tell him I love him
but he wont take it
I have tried and tried to help heal her heart
but she wont let me
no one will take the love and support I give
not even for one second
or one life time
I try and try but no one will take it
all this s h i t
is messing me up
and no one can help
her or him
or even me
I give it but no one takes it
the love I give is so strong
and powerful to anyone who believes in it
but the problem is no one does
no one can take it without saying
I need someone real
not just a friend
I want real love
the kind of love you see in movies
I try to say that's not real love
that's just writing a script
my love is real and I'm real
but most of all
I am your best friend
or your girlfriend
or your boyfriend
or your family
I give the love in which I want to receive
but no one takes it
no one cares
that I'm real
that I'm the one who loves you
and not the only one
you say whats the point
the point in loving someone
you can never be with
you say whats the point in living without them
that's real love
that's the material love you search for
not some movie flick
that's just a script
I give love but no one takes it
Oh I wish that they would take it and not just abuse it
and use it
I love them but do they love me?
I give it but no one takes it
so now I'll stop giving
and see how they feel then!

It's really sad one , its really hurt when you love someone but that someone doesnt love you back in return.. I don't know what to say right now cuz Im not in a person that can say much about love for now , you know what's happening to me , its so bad and really i just cant make up my mind , im still think of him in every second moment ... anyway here's a good piece and yoo know your boyfriend loves you a lot , you should write one happy and sweet and love poem cuz i wanna read one from ya , ya know you can do it the best too .. keep on writing babe , yoo did a good job.

You are such a wonderful and giving person. I know sometimes it gets hard and fustrating to give all what you have within your heart and not recieve any love in return. I am not sure why some people back off when they feel such intense love, but nevertheless it hurts very much.
Your poem comes from your heart. The pain flows through it as it comes from deep within your heart. I hope one day you will be filled up with the love you deserve... -

oh, ok, now you can throw a pie on my face now, lol.. sorry my darling kid, I should not have read that comment of your Dad RH, lol, it is actually a well written poem that can send a great impact to your readers! That is how poems are, sometimes you associate them with how the poets wrote them from their hearts. Lots of time it become so personal. But it is a very excellent write and forgive me for that previous comment!

I do agree with you DAD RH, just let it flow Emily....We should not worry much about something that much. For me the best way is, I will GIVE WITHOUT EXPECTING SOMETHING IN RETURN. If we only want to give because we expect to have something on the same degree, we can end up in so much disappointment, not only that it will be so sad and hurtful but also very frustrating. So the best way is, if we want to feel good, let it flow, love ourselves first, then give love... yes love, spread it to the world, give a smile, give some laughter, who cares if they are going to throw a pie on your face, just return it back with a big smile, and tell them, you are an arse, but I still love you! And then we can live freely and our world will be stress free!

Your heart still crys out to give and recieve such love. It still echoes within your poetry. Sometimes when someone tries too hard and pushes their feelings, it comes across as a forced love and not natural.
The key is just be yourself....
And love will embrace your heart...
