Blank Stares

Missing image

I blankly stare at a million poets
blankly staring at their page
I send a blank blink out to them.
They're darkly blinking back at me.
So dark the poets blinking blankly
at the million pages bare
with nothing outpouring from those blinking
blankly blinking darkly there.

So I take one’s hands and press the keys-
her motor skills have gone astray;
I type a word, just any word,
and it is her first word of the day.

She gives me a smile, blank gratitude there,
undoes her blouse, let's down her hair;
and now she has me blankly staring
at two blank bosoms nearly bare.

I suck some wind and pluck some courage
and take a blank page lying there
and scrawl a doodle suggestively
and blankly sit down next to her.

What is next, I blankly ponder
my mind is one big white, blank slate,
and as we peer into the yonder
we then blank-love begin to make!

On the swivel chair, hot and deep,
nothing free except our feet
which begin to type an epic poem
and in an hour it is complete-

An epic poem of 'nothingness'-
about blank pages full of holes,
with a million blank eyes staring through.
I dim the lights, tuck in our toes…

So we're mutually inspired now
all begun with long, blank stares.
We turned somethin’ outta’ nutin’
then made wild love there in her chair!

Casualties? There were only twoses:
our sore toeses, and blank muses
which were lost in that bunch of nothingness.

a late-night collaboration with the dark side of a blankly staring

You pushed me into an uncomfortable space with your picture and then your write and doodle. I don't know what to say except shock art lives. You are creative as all heck.

"Here blankly blinking back at the both of you nefew"!Your suggestive doodle looks remarkable like my boredom messing with an Etch-A-Scatch.This has a randomness to it.Kinda like wee hours mind meanderings I do.Well, not exactly in this direction. But just as random.Loved it!~~~Suseann

Wow, that was different...I had to read it several times, because my mind doesn't function well at 4 am...I was staring blankly at the computer screen until I read this over a couple of times, and then it made me laugh for some reason...Thanks for helping me with my wake up call, lol. Much love to you both,
    Nicole
