was just teasing about moving to Texas, Thistle. I'm actually caught between Jersey and Virginia at the moment, but the winters in both states are rough. I'm in Jersey now, and they're already forecasting snow tomorrow night and snow's not my favorite thing! I could do humid with a good air-conditioner!

Lol, in some parts of texas it is dry as a bone. Which part of the state are you moving into? West texas is pretty dry, but parts of east and southern texas are pretty humid.

texas can be dry, huh? I'm moving THERE! LOL we're expecting 4-6 inches tomorrow night up here in Jersey and though I love the snow when it's falling, I wish it would be gone the very next day! congratulations on the silver for this very pretty haiku-poem!

That dry cold is frigid...we are supposed to get a few inches tonight. Nice haiku. Thank you for entering.

Lol, I am sitting here wrapped in a blanket while a frigid dry wind is blowing outside. We get so little rain here that snow is rare, but we do get freezing breezes
Thanks for the comment
