The Thing

Cruel world
Full of bitterness, hate and fury
War is your nourishment
Torment your desire
And we, the earthlings, are but poisonous bacillus in your contaminated wound
Yet your heart, your veins are fighting for existence
Love, faith - in desperation exaggerate their strength
And choke themselves on too little
Or too much
There is no losing - no defeat

Give up you cruel world - and die
You are successfully devouring yourself
Thrive, thrive and die
Keep feeding yourself
Soon you will have taken your last mouthful
Never again will you be part of the universe
But resemble a snail
Only the shell will remain
For you have rotted away
You lack a mind - a brain
Hence you do not find the exit to escape
The shell will close then
And when the meteor dust will have dissolved into nothingness
It soon will be hollow

Triumph - you cruel world
You were your own destruction

Only the echo of your existence will linger on
And some day will fade
There will be peace

    very good

The way we are going is sure looks like the world will be just a shell. But lets have a good time and enjoy what has been given to us. Thanks for your view.

A strong choice, and well displayed topic. Things are moving and all shall move to be nothing in time, sometimes that ends the suffering of a life time. Also the slight mockery of love and faith in which most people put there trust is also well spoken. Good job.
