My Dearest Dave,
The years have past
Things have changed
So much that I want to tell
I wish you could see
Your children now
They've grown up oh, so well
Dylan is you
And Max is Jen
Like grapes that fall from vines
They're both in school
And playing sports
They're living their life so fine
I wish you could see
All they've become
You'd be beaming with such pride!
We miss you so much
Your loving family
You'll never lose that bind
No worries my Brother
Rest assure
Your Sis is watching them
In honor to you
I made this promise
Only wish this letter I could send

Thank you Sandy, my brother and I were very close and his oldest is my Godchild. It was such a tragedy to all of us especially his young children to lose him the way we did. Thank you for the applause and beautiful compliments on my poem. That in itself means a lot to me! Jasmine
