Bursting from a pod of colocynth she came
and stood in the garden.
The North Wind swept memories of her over the sandy desert,
and blinded by tears wetting my sworded belts
so tender was my love for this special sister...
in fringes of white woven silk she came,
and let loose her hair which brought forth the scent of Amouage,
a wonder, like a costly jewel, as she appeared.
I travel on foot and visit her on mooned nights
bringing her gifts, gems, and pearls that match her glancing eyes
that swim like a pure oasis of water reflected in the mirrored moonlit sky...
her arrow struck my heart with friendship
as I pass the sentries that guard her door,
my soft footsteps carrying me closer to her in the night.
Among the tribes,
the Arabian wildcat is nourished
on the milk of white deer and date-clustered trees,
in the darkness of the long heavy nights she shines
like the light tower of a monk,
her brightness cast over the howl of the wolves like a song bird singing;
on a swift white steed she carries her love,
well bred, outstripping the wild beasts,
and in my weariness this Arabian wildcat rides up to lift my spirit up.
She is as a cool rainwater flowing over smooth stones,
sweeping down in a torrent from the distant mountains,
pouring her gifts on the undulating desert sands of my emotions
until blossoms spread like riches and spiced wine;
in the desert evening, amid my lost footprinted tracks,
and under a thick gathering of thunderous clouds
that bring lightening and a coming storm,
in this turmoil that hurls up flood and debris
I find her,
like cool rainwater,
and she carries me over the smooth stones,
time transfixed in her mystery of jeweled gems and gleaming pearls.

love the background as well goes perfectly with the words would love a man who brought me Gems and Pearls well done
