School Rants #2

I've got a secret to share.
A secret life, a past affair.
The clues are all there
But the holder is where?
They aren't in the right state of mind
So they run and hide.
To keep their past quite
They won't give it up without a fight
They complain and they whine.
You give up before you can find.
A secret life.
A life before this.
A changed toned.
A different behavior.
Why can't you be the same?
With the rest of your friends?
Or do you with to put it to an end.
Don't ask,
Don't tell.
A life of secrecy.
What kind of life do you wish to live?
A two sided coin.
Heads vs tales
truth vs false.
Just once in your life,
Don't hide all your secrets.
Just once in your life, treat everyone the same.
Just remember I know.
The clues all fit.
I'm smarter than appear
The secret wouldn't leave me alone,
Until I wrote it down.
Your secret is safe,
Among the stars

UM I like it, I love it, I want some more of it, lol. I think this piece is brilliant, I really do. The Rhyme scheme is essentially flawless leaving the reader with the pleasant sensation of reading perfect, rhyming words which is a rarity nowadays. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem, you did a really nice job with it. I will tell you what it brought to my mind when I first began reading it...freestyle poetry. I don't know if that was how you intended it to be read, but since the overall flow of the poem was SO superb, I began to find myself doing a rap-style reading of your intellectual words...so whatever you did in this piece please keep on doing it, it was wonderful.
