I stare out through my window pane
And gaze upon, the moonlit view
Wondering when, we'll be together
I'm thinking, of nothing, but you
Even visiting, with family or friends
Having a laugh or two
I still, just feel, so empty inside
Because...I am missing you
So many nights, we chat or write
We can talk for hours at times
Which makes me miss you even more
Cause I'm wishing, you were all mine
How lucky I am, you love me so
I'm lonely without you near
Now with every breath, I breathe in you
My eyes, keep filling with tears
I love you so, every day that passes
Anticipating, to see you once more
Your intriguing eyes, your heart so pure
Hoping, you'll walk through my door

This is such a truly beautiful write! Such a deep longing to be near the one you love. Sincere thoughts of devotion and endearment flooding each well composed line. Lovely!!!

It is very hard at times to be away from the one you love but circumstance of life have interferred with us being together at this point in our life but the love we have for one another is and always will be there!

I can feel the love and longing in this poem. Thanks for sharing this. I have a friend, who I don't see much and I think about all the time. I always wonder when I'll see them again. If only they'd just walk right in, say "hi, surprise its me" type thing ya know? Anyway, very nice writing, good flow and good word choices. Thanks for entering!
