'A tulip doesn't’t strive to impress anyone. It doesn't’t struggle to be different than a rose. It doesn't’t have to. It is different. And there’s room in the garden for every flower. You didn't’t have to struggle to make your face different than anyone else’s on earth. It just is. You are unique because you were created that way. Look at little children in kindergarten. They’re all different without trying to be. As long as they’re unselfconsciously being themselves, they can’t help but shine. It’s only later, when children are taught to compete, to strive to be better than others, that their natural light becomes distorted.”
~ Marianne Williamson
Lonely this body is just to know
what could be has became toward the
can be of being whole
The nature of loneliness
is to know, confess
that it is best
to seek spiritual completeness.
Yet, as the idle things righteously
transcends the mirage, the Soul somehow
showed itself oft to those of imperial
fantasies...perhaps the long-gated ground
will whisper sweet blissful wordings just
to revitalize the mind again; watch the pen become
the sword and draw out the simplified ink-
artistry is now made-
In sepia ink revealed
are all things congealed
words like wispy breeze
that removes dark disease.
Your words play havoc, in-between
the alluring and mundane...
Such power and glower
blows by the hour
and like the sirocco
transport sublime to Morocco.
Yet all the world
blows in this twirl
swirling like dust devils
all feelings so disheveled.
Carelessly, without even thinking,
the final destination seems somewhat
incomplete--as if to say, the tilted
world hasn't bloomed...or blossomed;
will just sit and if need be, bloom
knowing an epiphany was acknowledged

What a gorgeous quote to find inspiration in! How lucky are the flowers to not be changed by peer pressure or social pressures. How much they should teach us about acceptance and diversity if we would only see the lesson. These are all truly gorgeous and inspiring reads. Reading this leaves me thinking, and I adore poetry that does that!! Thank you so very much for sharing this with us! This is one I will be coming back to as one read is just not enough!

You like Marianne Williamson too. Cool. Now you scare me. I got to go fold clothes and put a few more loads into the machine and then I'll be right back in half an hour. I love collaborating a lot. Hope you like my contributions.
