Cornered Sighs #2

“A leader's role is to raise people's aspirations for what they can become and to release their energies so they will try to get there.”
~ David Gergen

...And all was said
but not yet completed
when this mind delved
deep into memories long
passed and forgotten

There wasn't much said
as those tender touches
caressed in undulated
temptation -whilst all the
time, life deem greatly beneath
the bridges of dream and sighs

Hushed decadence became the only
sought out endeavors as to what would
never be redeemed; kiss this soul again
until the blurriness dissipates, and
finally, the rarest flower has bloomed
on grounds where nothing was plausible to
live

Remembering that particular
light, grabbing hold onto the
alternated reveries, gave 'way to
a small glimmer of hope...

...And once again, I lie here
awake within my dream while standing
on this Bridge of Signs just to reminisce
as the words come flowing out and the unquelched
tears flow from a place seen through
other's eyes'

    Quite beautiful my dear
    written bravely without fear
    some tenderness is seared
    nothing here I jeer.
