We're told that big girls don't cry,
And that boys cheat and they lie.
Were suppose to be skinny like the girls we see,
While watching the pretty models on t.v.
We're suppose to be successful in everything we do,
We are suppose to cook, clean and sew too.
Were are suppose to be polite, and never swear,
We are always to be happy and also to share.
We are never to ask someone out on a date,
We are to like everyone and never to hate.
Well I'm afraid I'm not the average girl,
Things are a bit different in my world.
I'm a big girl and yet I still cry,
I'm with someone that doesn't cheat or lie.
I'm not as skinny as I'd like to be,
While watching the models on t.v.
I'm not successful in half of what I do,
I hate to cook,clean and my sewing sucks too!
I am polite, but I ALWAYS swear!
I am not always happy, and I hate to share!
I am the one that always asks for dates,
and there are alot of people that I do hate.
I am a strange girl you may choose to say,
Because I like to live my life this way!

I love this! It's so true. People are way too stereotypical of women. I like that you're not perfect (because c'mon, who is?) but you don't spend your time and energy trying to be something you're not. That's what I collect from this piece anyway. Great write!

you tell them girl, i hate sexual stereotypes you are what you are and thats all you are, if you dont match up to someones stereotype thats their problem not yours they are probably fat lesbian cows with tattoos and beards anyhow!
