Alone

I'm alone.
And all I can feel is the darkness
Pressing in around me.
No one to hear my cries.
No one to heed my pain.
I'm alone.
And my old nightmares
Come back to haunt me.
Their gaunt forms grin
As they realize
I'm alone.
And suddenly
I know.
There is no way out.
Because
I'm alone.

Just wanted to write something that got my feelings out. I just had a rough night last night.

    Beautiful poem
