A Simple Little Lie

A silver plate,
Soaked in black.
A crimson tide,
A burning crack.
A cryptic reign,
A soulful cry.
Draining life-force,
By a simple lie.
This constant, running motion,
That will soon come to an end.
From a simple little lie,
From a simple little friend.

    Lovely and Deep..

Yes very abstract but I see it, I understand. It is quite a simple poem on the surface but underneath, I feel, there is much more to it. I love the lines --A burning crack-- and --This constant, running motion-- I just love it...i dont know what it is about this poem but i love it! Brilliant! BoundbutnotBroken.
