Army

I walk down this old wet road,
I see writing is it a code?
I bring this parchment back to my home,
When i decode it i realise its from Rome,

It reads only this:
I sit here alone by this fire,
Silence is all but dire,
A long some road is my army's to cross,
Then a battle filled with loss,
I shall not stop until I'm killed,
Until my hearts blood is spilled,
I'll gallop across all the land,
Winning everywhere firsthand,
An army out to war,
An army which could never be washed out to shore,
Me and my army worth more than gold,
We will be remembered for being so bold,
