Under the moonlight
friends meet and part
sometimes with an aching heart
fooling about carving their names into the bark
so everybody can see their friendship is built to last

sometimes they become lovers and reach the skies

sometimes they understand they are one amongst trillions
created by the master of creation
just to stay together to fulfil their admiration

friends have nothing much to say
sometimes they argue and go separate ways
but if destiny is right they always get to meet
to kiss and greet and walk on air with steady feet

friends can create the future together as a team
sometimes they even can control their dreams
