You have done a nice job tying this together. It really is far more complex than 5 lines isn't it?
You have a good feel for this and I hope to see more when the class is finished.

I'm sure with your attention to detail and creative spirit you'll master this form in no time. Your presentation here, as always, is first class.

    Sincerely,

    Dear Samplette,
I think you would like the tanka style. I'm just about wrapping up a class with AndrewHide. It is kinda like putting two haikus together with a pivot line that connects them. There are many aspects in the tanka that represent events, seasons, time changes....etc.

I am loving the form and what it represents, and where it orginated. Thanks for the read and comment.

I saw Orion's Belt right away. It is a nice poem Cheryl. I am unfamiliar with this style.

I never thought much about what goes in a tanka besides the meter...I will have to read up on it some more. This was very good. Love the vision it conjures up..
