I thought he was great,
A great friend,
Becoming the best boyfriend.
That all changed,
Though I'm glad it did.
Ever felt like something bad was gonna happen?
And that problem happened?
But then everything turned out worse that you though?
You've come to me,
My darkest fear,
Just passed behind.
Just a moment ago I wanted to hurt someone,
Someone who I thought cared,
Someone who did,
But apparently not really.
I looked and realized,
He was cheating on me.
After this moment,
I'm glad he dumped me.
But why would he keep it to himself?
Why couldn't he have told me the truth?
It makes me worse knowing he couldn't just tell me,
Let me hear the truth,
The truth of reality that I need to know.
Finally I found out,
I don't know what to do.
Stay friends?
Or lose him forever in my mind?
This memory will go on,
I never could have thought,
That broke my heart more than it could have,
Knowing that I never got the truth,
It just tears me into shred.
I was broken a moment ago,
But a good friend is here to cheer me up.
Someone who tells me the truth,
Sticks to my side,
And tells me what I need to know,
Even if they tell her to keep it,
She tells me because she is here,
She hates to see me broken,
Just like I hate to see her broken.
Don't take my hand once again,
I don't want to remember the past,
Not once again will it come to me,
Unless you break the chain,
Of me trusting you.
As you see, I give you another chance,
But break this one more time,
Two things will be broken.

well i live in a house full of females and no male , exept me, and i have seen my sis go through a lot of boyfriends and she hasnt found the right one. so i hope you can find the right one soon. just forget about him and if you cant then im sorry. have a great time looking for someone new. lol. oh this is a great poem too.
