So long I've waited
Searching
For a place I belong
A place to call home
To fit in
And just be me
Years have come
And years have gone
Alone, I travel
Through the darkness
Of the midnight hour
Driving down
That long winding road
Taking me back
To the very beginning
Where family awaits
And friends come calling
Back to the start
To the place
That holds my heart
Where children play
And babies cry
So long I have yearned
To be free
No stress
No pressure
Just be me
Accepted as is
Loved unconditionally
A place of values
Where tradition thrives
And comfort overflows
Moving forward
But always returning
Back to the history
From which I came
With family gatherings
And undying support
Standing on the porch
Smiling at the door
Reading the word
Welcome
Yes, I'm back again
Nothing else can compare
Home Sweet Home

Awwww Mally ya always say such the sweetest things.
As for expressing more of my inner thoughts.....one here and there is more than enough. Though everything I write is atleast a part of my inner thoughts in some way shape or form. I don't write many of this nature simply because there is so much of me I keep locked away.
Thank you for your sweet words hun
Blessings
